“THESE THINGS TAKE TIME” is the WINNER by PUBLIC CHOICE at the LOCARNO FILM FESTIVAL Short Films Competition organized by Swiss Pavilion!
City lifestyle makes us forget the importance of what is genuine.
The world around us is changing at a fast pace and only few things have time to stick to their past. The panettone made by Marnin bakery in Locarno is one of those.
It’s no secret the most important ingredient of panettone is tradition.
Tradition which is kept alive by Arno Antognini and his family, patiently facing every day the long waits of the panettone production. For them patience will never go out of fashion.
Modernity and genuinity may coexist, it’s just a matter of time.
“These things take time” was shot in 2 days and 2 nights in Locarno.
